Start of the GDM conference in Wuppertal

On Monday, the 59th Annual Conference of the Society for Mathematics Education (GDM) got off to a successful start at the University of Wuppertal.
The Working Group on Didactics and History of Mathematics, Wuppertal Mayor Miriam Scherff, University of Wuppertal Rector Professor Birgitta Wolff, and GDM Chairpersons Professor Florian Schacht and Professor Marita Friesen welcomed over 750 interested scientists.
Under the theme “Research in Diversity – Between Mountains and Valleys,” the conference provided a platform for exchanging ideas on current topics in mathematics education. For more information: gdm2026.uni-wuppertal.de/de/
